Arrival and Departure

Self catering holiday rental periods begin at 4pm on day of arrival, with check out at 10am on the morning of departure. 

Cleaning

The property will be cleaned on your departure and checked for any damage that may have occurred during your visit. Please ensure you leave the property in a tidy condition, returning any items you may have moved to their original location, and with all dishes and pans washed and put back where you found them. You may be charged if excess cleaning is required.

Beds

The cottage has two bedrooms, each with two single beds and an en-suite toilet. If requested, bedrooms can be made up with a generous sized double bed.

A cot is available for a baby.

Cancellation Protection

It is recommended that you use Holiday Cancellation Insurance. 

Payment for your booking

A non-returnable deposit of 20% of the total cost is required upon booking.

6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, the balance should be paid, along with a damage deposit of £50. 

Once the cottage has been checked on your departure, and found to be in good condition, this deposit will be sent back to you. Please inform me promptly of any damage to the property so that repairs can be arranged.

Payment can be made by cheque or by BACS.

Fairview is a no smoking property, and no pets.

Fairview Shetland has a Short Term Let Licence as stipulated by the Scottish Government.

Licence Number SH00074 F 01, valid from 19/09/2023 to 19/09/2026.
